Ah...the Sunshine State.  Citrus is at its peak flavor and quality right now (well, it was up until last week when the temps in Florida got below freezing). Regardless, here are three memory triggers about these refreshing fruits!

Squeeze.  Squeeze in that fiber.  Citrus is not only a fiber-rich fruit, but it is full of water.  A full
stomach on minimal calories!  Special K, you ain’t got nothing on this.

Shake
.  You can shake what your mama gave ya if you shake some citrus-based dressing onto your salad.  Substitute fresh citrus juice for vinegar in homemade salad dressings.  The flavor is a tad sweeter and lighter.

Substitute.  Instead of coffee, try hot water with half a lemon squeezed into it.  Not only will your teeth thank you, but your stomach will too.  When heated, citrus may aid digestion.
Limes, lemons, grapefruits, oranges, tangerines....all rich in nutrients from vitamin C and potassium to calcium and thiamin.  Squeeze it. Shake it. Substitute it. Enjoy!
